Since 1991 Brooks and Luanne MacDonald have raised the bar for extraordinary
hospitality on the Coast of Maine. The original Hurricane Restaurant in
Perkins Cove, Ogunquit is now closed, but the newest Hurricane in Dock
Square, Kennebunkport, continues to play host to food and wine lovers
from Maine, around the country and all over the world. Hurricane serves
only the freshest seafood, and our executive chef has, literally, written
the book on lobster. Steak and chop lovers will always find something
on our menus to tempt them, and we also feature several vegetarian dishes.
Our wine list has won numerous awards, and our Wine Dinner Series is legendary
for its quality and value. We also feature sugar-happy, in-house pastry
chefs. Our menu changes daily and we are open for lunch and dinner seven
days a week, almost all year round. We have full bar service and accept
most major credit cards. The Hurricane dining room has a wonderful river
view. We invite you to join us for Maine dining the way it should be.
We guarantee you will not be disappointed.
Serving Hours: Hurricane serves lunch and dinner seven days a week, almost all year
around. (We do take a short hiatus over the holidays until about Valentine's
Day for our annual paint, polish and purge. It never hurts to call ahead.)
We open at 11:30 a.m. From July Fourth to Labor Day we seat and serve
until 10:30 p.m. In fall, winter and spring, we'll happily seat you until
9:30 p.m. Reservations are suggested.
Always a good idea.
